Position Summary

Codent AI is hiring a Virtual Treatment Coordinator to support dental practices nationwide. This is a remote role focused on treatment coordination, insurance benefit interpretation, and patient communication. The individual in this role will work closely with dental offices using Codent AI’s technology to help ensure treatment plans are clearly communicated and accurately documented.

This position is best suited for an experienced dental administrative professional who is comfortable working remotely, managing multiple workflows, and using modern cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review dental treatment plans in collaboration with partner dental offices
• Use Codent AI’s technology platform to support treatment planning workflows and documentation
• Verify and interpret dental insurance benefits, including coverage limitations and estimated patient responsibility
• Communicate treatment plans to patients in a clear, professional, and patient-focused manner via phone, video, or secure digital platforms
• Support dental offices in improving treatment plan understanding and case acceptance through education and financial presentation
• Accurately document treatment coordination activities within Codent AI systems and dental practice management software
• Serve as a point of coordination between dental providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure clear communication
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable data privacy standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a comparable dental administrative role
• Working knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and common insurance plans (PPO, HMO, indemnity)
• Experience with insurance verification and patient financial discussions
• Ability to work with cloud-based platforms and emerging technology tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-enabled dental software or remote dental support platforms
• Familiarity with practice management systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar
• Experience supporting multiple dental offices or dental service organizations (DSOs)
