Korn Ferry is retained confidentially by a leading public, global company in the manufacturing, sustainability space, to identify an accounting leader to be groomed to be the CAO. Our client is nearly a $4b, high performing organization that invests heavily in developing talent for future leadership roles. This role will lead all financial reporting and technical accounting, the close process, oversight of the audit and control process, support a new ERP assessment, selection and implementation, shared services, and potentially treasury operations and tax. Relocation is provided! Experience and professional qualifications are as follows: 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience Minimum of 5 years Big Four accounting experience, CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, Masters preferred. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in Oracle a plus. Systems selection and implementation experience required. Experience in M&A required Experience with shared services required Treasury operations experience strongly preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally at all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to motivate, inspire and develop individuals and teams to deliver their highest potential. Build collaborative relationships while managing occasional conflicting priorities. Ability to balance business needs with the technical constraints, drive creative solution discussions, and negotiate trade-offs as needed Approach work with a mindset of continuous improvement, collaboration, customer focus, flexibility, positivity, and engagement across the team; able to drive and influence chance in a matrixed, diverse, multi-cultural environment High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. In-office 5 days/week with standard business hours. Occasional travel may be required for audits, training, or site visits. Must be able to work extended hours during monthly/quarterly close and year-end. Compensation: $250k-$300k DOE plus a meaningful STI and LTIP #J-18808-Ljbffr
