Job Description: VP of Business Development

Position Overview:

As the VP of Business Development at Augmentjobs, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth by developing and executing strategies to expand our client base, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance revenue streams. You will lead a dynamic team to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure that the company's business development goals align with its overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.

    • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.

  2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Lead efforts to identify, prospect, and secure new clients and partnerships.

  3. Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.

    • Prepare and present regular reports on business development progress, achievements, and challenges to senior management.

    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build trust and credibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.

    • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.

  2. Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

  3. Strategic Thinking:

    • Strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve objectives.

  4. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate deals.
