JOB TITLE:

Remote VP of Sales

JOB TYPE:

Full-time

JOB LOCATION:

Boulder Colorado United States

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Who We Are:

We're a passionate group led by our founder, Matt Parry, who embarked on a journey to create delicious, better-for-you snacks with two non-negotiables in mind, Great Taste and Good Ingredients.
Inspired by the love for his three daughters, Matt's quest began when he realized that snacks often came with top allergens, artificial ingredients, and gluten fillers that didn't align with his family's health-conscious values.
So, he took matters into his own hands and reimagined the classic canister chip, resulting in the birth of The Good Crisp Company.

Our dedication to crafting the perfect stacked chip without compromising on taste or ingredients has been the cornerstone of our business.
We're passionate about creating products that people love.
Our continued growth and expanding product range demonstrate our commitment to becoming a market leader in the better-for-you snack category.

Join us at The Good Crisp Company, where your work transcends the ordinary and becomes a force for good in the world.
Together, we'll savor success, inspire positive change, and make snack time an even more enjoyable experience.

Who You Are:

At The Good Crisp Company, we're searching for a passionate, dedicated Vice President of Sales, reporting into the CEO and Co-founder, who wants to make a real difference in the world of snacks.
As the Vice President of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in our Leadership Team, embodying our deep commitment to the category both within our organization and in the broader market.

With distribution in 20,000 doors and growing, together, we'll turn snack time into a time of purpose and enjoyment.

What You Will Do:

You will have full accountability for refining and executing the sales strategy, with a primary focus on enhancing existing accounts and strategically developing new business opportunities across retail, and foodservice.
Your role will involve close collaboration with all departments to establish thorough in-market and go-to-market plans, demonstrating the ability to handle tasks of any scale.

Your duties will also include leading and developing an internal sales team, fostering essential relationships with retailer partners, and coordinating with a network of brokers.
Additionally, we value analytical thinking.
You will be expected to implement a data-centric sales strategy aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
You will leverage data sources such as SPINS, Nielsen, and consumer research to acquire insights into market trends and category performance.
Managing the sales department budget, including sales and trade forecasting and other relevant expenses, will be part of your role.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of The Good Crisp Company Leadership Team helping to lead the company’s vision and values.
Partner with other departments to apply a cohesive and cross-functional approach to achieving results
  • Management and continued development of US, and international business sales initiatives across all channels.
Build and maintain strong strategic customer relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop and meet sales and expense forecasts for yearly budget and strategic plan for all channels – monitor performance monthly against budget targets and make appropriate adjustments to achieve company sales and profit targets
  • Responsible for developing sales and trade budget in conjunction with the finance team and actively participate in cross-functional S&OP meetings
  • Analyze retailer and category consumption data to evaluate the category and guide business strategy – utilize Spins, Nielsen, consumer research and portal data from key accounts effectively
  • Manage trade promotion programs – coordinate verification and management of trade spend and deductions more broadly, enlisting sales team to provide on-going review by customer
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective sales proposals, point of sale, trade collateral materials, trade show booths, syndicated data analysis, shopper marketing programs, etc.
  • Continue to build a team and culture that attracts and retains hard-working and talented team members
Compensation & Benefits:
