VTC engineer
Fedtec is seeking highly experienced VTC engineer to lead senior-level AVL-VC (Audio-Visual, Lighting-Video Conferencing) systems support for critical facilities . The ideal candidate will cover AV Specialist duties, deliver user training, and manage ~425 rooms using Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, DSP systems, digital projection/display, control systems, wired/wireless networks, AESMP, and SharePoint. Must read architectural plans and schematics fluently.
Location: Fort Sill, OK
Clearance : Active Secret or higher
Certification: CompTIA Security+CE and Computing environment(AVIXA-CTS)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, install, operate, and sustain AVL-VC systems across Fort Sill facilities, with focus on senior leadership venues (Bldg 455, 730).
- Conduct needs assessments, site surveys, and develop post-wide AVL-VC sustainment plans.
- Provide RFQ technical support (PWS 9.6.1-9.6.13) and cover AV Specialist functions as needed.
- Deliver user training and manage sustainment for ~425 rooms using Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, DSP systems, digital projection/display, control systems, and wired/wireless networks.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and schematics; integrate with AESMP and SharePoint for documentation and operations.
- 10+ years verifiable experience in AVL-VC systems design, development, implementation, installation, operations, and sustainment.
- 10+ years verifiable experience in DSP, Digital Projection/Display, and Control Systems (resume must demonstrate).
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Current InfoComm International CTS-General certification (required at hire).
- Ability to read architectural plans and schematics.
