Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and diligent Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will help us continue spreading the joy of gardening and making it accessible by accurately preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a collaborative work environment. If you are a motivated team-player with great attention to detail who is passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team! This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
The duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately process, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Check, verify, and fulfill customer orders.
- Inspect products for defects and damages; report quality deficiencies.
- Safely operate a forklift, reach truck, cherry picker and pallet jack when necessary.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventive maintenance functions on equipment.
- Report any damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
- Follow Company safety and quality procedures; and other policies and guidelines governing Company operations.
- Perform other duties and related projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience performing similar tasks in a relevant warehouse setting.
- 2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers in a respectful, concise and clear manner.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Regularly lift, carry, pull and push 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Regularly squat, stoop, bend at waist, turn at waist to complete function above.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
- Occasional overtime and weekends may be required beyond scheduled hours.
