Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate Driver to join our vibrant team and help us to spread the joy of gardening! If you have relevant experience and are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Load materials into the company truck to prevent shifting, damage, or loss in transit.
- Drive safely and efficiently to various warehouse locations.
- Accurately process, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Check, verify, and fulfill customer orders.
- Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
- Inspect products for defects and damages; report quality deficiencies.
- Safely operate a forklift, reach truck, cherry picker and pallet jack when necessary.
- Report any damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant warehouse setting.
- 2+ years of experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers respectfully, concisely, and clearly.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to stand and bend for long periods with occasional squats, stoops, and turn at the waist in a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Job Location and Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
- 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX 77377.
- Monday through Friday.
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
