Location: 13129 Airpark Drive, Elkwood, VA, 22718, United States Job Category: Warehouse, Production Employee Type: Full-Time Regular Required Degree: High school Manage Others: No JOB SNAPSHOT: If you like being at the center of all the action, a career at our Culpeper, Virginia production facility may be right for you. Currently, we have two (2) openings in our inbound warehouse. Our Warehouse Associates play an important role in getting our custom products out the door. In this position, you will assist in the preparation of completed orders for delivery according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). You need to be able to accurately count freight and follow load plans. PAY: Depending On Experience SHIFTS: Position #1 - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Position #2 - 11:00 am to 7:30 pm WHAT YOU’LL DO: Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some of which may require specialized training Unload shipments from trucks Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse Stock the floor as necessary Record movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies and verify the accuracy of work and report any issues Follow OSHA guidelines to prevent injury to self, others, and damage to the product while operating machinery Maintain OSHA forklift certification Keep the warehouse organized Unload delivered product from delivery trucks Follow company policies and procedures that are in accordance with established standards Other duties as assigned ARE YOU A MATCH? High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role preferred Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, lifting up to 40 lbs. repeatedly Prior experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g., sit-forklifts, pallet jacks) Dexterity and attention to detail along with good organizational skills Availability to work overtime Reliable transportation to and from work PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs Required to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend at waist, and move about the facility Required to grip, twist, and turn with both hands for long periods of time OUR BENEFITS: Each full-time position at CCA is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical & prescription, dental and vision insurance, employer paid Life insurance, a Health Savings Account plan, Flexible Spending Account plans for health and dependent care, voluntary Short-term and Long-term Disability coverage, and other voluntary benefit options.
