Key Responsibilities:
* Forklift and Equipment Operation: Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, following safety protocols to prevent accidents.
* Production Scheduling: Following daily schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
* Particle Analysis: Operating a particle distribution analyzer to ensure the quality of product
* Inventory Management: Conducting inventory cycle counts, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate records
* Blender Operations: Managing the blending process, ensuring FIFO (first-in, first-out) rotation of roasted beans in silos, and reworking coffee as necessary.
Flavor Blending: Applying flavors to coffee accurately and tracking inventory to ensure adequate stock of flavoring agents.
Grinder Operations: Performing particle analysis, adjusting grind recipes as necessary, and ensuring consistent coffee grind quality.
Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks with the help of maintenance technicians to keep machinery running smoothly.
SAP Transactions and Interface Use: Performing computer transactions within SAP and utilizing operator interface panels to manage processes and input data accurately.
Machine Startup/Shutdown: Preparing machinery for both startup and shutdown according to procedures to prevent downtime or equipment damage.
Other Duties as Required: Flexibly taking on additional responsibilities as directed by management to support team goals and operational needs.
Qualifications:
* Forklift Certification and Material Handling Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently, with certification preferred.
* Technical Knowledge in Production or Manufacturing: Familiarity with blending, grinding, particle analysis, and flavoring processes, along with basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
* Experience with Inventory Management and FIFO Practices: Strong skills in inventory cycle counting and maintaining FIFO rotation to ensure accurate and organized stock management.
* Proficiency in SAP or Similar ERP Software: Ability to accurately perform transactions in SAP and navigate operator interface panels to manage workflows and data entry.
* Attention to Detail and Quality Control: High attention to detail for conducting quality checks, adjusting grind recipes, and ensuring consistent production standards.
