Warehouse Associate Temporary Apply
Warehouse Associate will handle, move/store, pack & ship, various non-hazardous and hazardous materials. Duties will include loading and unloading shipments, recording shipment and inventory statuses, and making sure the deliveries properly match purchase orders. This is a six-month temporary role.
Job Responsibilities
· Prepare shipment trays and package them according to instructions. This includes collaborating with internal team members.
· Labeling every shipment and placing them accordingly
· Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
· Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.
· Organize and maintain the work environment and implement 6S
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
· Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse setting.
· Experience in record keeping, data entry, and stock management using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.
· Basic computer skills
Physical Demands & Work Location:
· Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
· Adhere to the company’s quality and safety requirements.
· Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
· May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.
· May need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes.
