Location: Plainview, Long Island, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, manage a team of 6 warehouse employees, and coordinate in-house production planning to ensure smooth and efficient distribution. This role is vital to maintaining high standards in inventory management, logistics, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Health & Safety:

    • Supervise, coach, and manage a team of 6 employees.
    • Ensure productivity, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Foster a secure, efficient working environment for all team members.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Organization:

    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for accuracy and stock rotation.
    • Maintain optimal warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Order Fulfillment & Shipping:

    • Oversee the complete order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and shipping.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
    • Coordinate with logistics at the Belgium HQ for accurate and efficient shipping processes.
    • Process all inbound and outbound deliveries using SAP.
  • Forecasting & Production Planning:

    • Collaborate with the Forecasting Manager to translate product and packaging forecasts into accurate purchase orders.
    • Coordinate in-house production planning to meet delivery timelines and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Data & Financial Management:

    • Maintain accurate customer, product, and pricing data in SAP.
    • Oversee and control transportation and warehousing invoices.
    • Track shipments between the warehouse and the 3PL overflow warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or coordination, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
    • Experience managing a team is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
    • Experience with SAP is a plus.
    • Spanish is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving:

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot issues, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move products as needed.
    • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
