Warehouse Distribution Lead Farm Food Hub Apply
The Common Market is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Distribution Lead (Warehouse Level 3) to support our Farm Food Hub operations. As a Warehouse Distribution Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our Farm Food Hub. The Farm Food Hub is a central location where local farmers deliver their fresh produce, dairy, and meat products, which are then distributed to customers like schools, hospitals, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the receiving and inventory processes at the Farm Food Hub
- Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Coordinate with local farmers for product pickups and deliveries to the Farm Food Hub
- Oversee the packing and shipping processes
- Maintain food safety and quality standards throughout the operations
- Lead and train a team of warehouse associates in order fulfillment and inventory management
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations efficiency
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in the food industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and customers
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- 1+ year of forklift experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
