The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Fremont that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods. Manage and develop warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance throughput. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow. Monitor and manage warehouse budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment maintenance. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of inventory management principles, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and ERP systems. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with experience in training and developing warehouse staff. Excellent knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices for warehouse operations. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
