Pay Rate: $150,000 - $188,000 per year (salary + stock options & potential sign-on bonus)

Location: Hayward, CA

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Warehouse Manager to work on-site with our client, a leader in autonomous mobility. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, shipping, and process optimization across multiple facilities. You will play a key role in improving warehouse efficiency and hiring and developing high-caliber warehouse teams to support transition into a production-ready company.

As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits and stock compensation options.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations & Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely material delivery for internal customers in General Assembly and Base Operations.

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, kitting, inventory control, and cycle counting.

  • Plan and improve warehouse processes and workflows to enhance efficiency in a high-growth environment.

  • Develop and implement safety guidelines and standardized work processes.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Monitor and manage warehouse budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service and quality standards.

  • Develop and track KPIs for continuous process improvements.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Hire, train, and manage warehouse personnel, including full-time employees and contingent workers.

  • Foster a team-oriented culture and support career growth opportunities within Logistics Operations.

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Engineering, and Service Operations, to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations within a product-based environment.

  • 3+ years of experience managing large teams of employees and contingent workers.

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to travel between warehouse locations as needed.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.

  • Experience in the automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.

  • Experience with advanced warehouse automation technology.

  • Background in go-to-market initiatives with cross-functional teams.
