Job Function:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and personnel while achieving performance objectives established by the Operations Manager . This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant flow of materials, accurate inventory management, strong team performance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline warehouse employees to drive performance and accountability.
  • Review weekly timecards and submit approved hours to payroll.
  • Allocate staffing and resources to meet immediate and long-term operational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control activities.
  • Ensure all customer requirements, service levels, and quality expectations are consistently met.
  • Strive to minimize warehouse resource waste including payroll hours, inventory loss, damaged product, and inefficient use of space.
  • Participate in ISO and customer audits and ensure full warehouse and personnel audit readiness.
  • Ensure daily tow motor logs are completed and reviewed.
  • Verify that all warehouse tools and equipment are calibrated according to required intervals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all warehouse assets (trade and expense) are accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Oversee general building maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accountability for warehouse equipment, tools, and inventory assets.
  • Utilize NetSuite daily to process receipts, shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely system transactions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using NetSuite for inventory, order processing, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of RF scanner guns and barcode scanning workflows.
  • Experience utilizing tablets and mobile devices for warehouse operations, data entry, and task management.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
