SHAREHOUSE MANAGER
United Community Family Services is looking for a SHAREHOUSE Manager to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and maintain all aspects of building maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems, to ensure a safe, secure, and well-functioning SHAREHOUSE facility for the community. Additionally, oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, and conduct regular safety inspections.
Communicate and delegate with SHAREHOUSE Clerks
Using various software, including Microsoft office, salesforce, and L2F
Coordinate Basic needs pickup route and schedule
Coordinate and maintain recycling route
Ensuring agency grounds are clean and safe
Take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety of the agency grounds, coordinating with maintenance staff and external vendors as needed.
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in handling various tasks and responsibilities, recognizing the dynamic nature of SHAREHOUSE operations
Other duties as assigned by management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to position self to maneuver in confined or awkward spaces. The employee regularly is required to remain in a stationary position and move to access people or machinery or workspaces. Employee is occasionally required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas. The employee must regularly move up to 20 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to travel (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation). The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate MUST be bilingual (English/Arabic) with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, as well as proficient in computer skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse cultures and ethnicities
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
