As a Warehouse Manager at our warehouse located at our headquarters in Middleton, WI, you will be responsible for managing all warehouse and distribution functions including shipping, receiving, inventory management, logistics routing and OSHA compliance. You will work with our Warehouse Managers at our PA, CA, and TX warehouses, along with our Executive Team, to develop consistent logistical processes and policies for the company. You will train and enhance your team to ensure the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none. The facility in Middleton operates Monday through Friday with normal operating hours from 8AM to 7PM. During the holidays in the 4th quarter of the year, the facility runs a half shift over the weekend day to process the additional seasonal orders. Overall Responsibilities Responsible for proper routing, loading, and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer requirements Ensure product receiving is efficient, and maintain required records in conformance with company policy Responsible for inventory accuracy Ensure paperwork is completed for all inbound and outbound shipments Maintain OSHA standards and preventive measures to ensure safety of all staff Supervision of warehouse personnel. Actively participate in hiring, training and development, evaluation, retention, promotion, dismissal of staff Document and implement company policies and efficiencies in the warehouse Protect all company assets in the warehouse including non-stock merchandise Participate in management meetings as required Other responsibilities as required and necessary for the successful operation of the warehouse Qualifications 4+ years as a Distribution Warehouse Manager Experience with ERP systems data systems Experience with shipping software Experience with 3PL and fulfillment services Knowledge of dynamic routing guides Leadership qualities and demonstrated organizational skills Time management and problem-solving skills High School diploma or equivalent Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Sage X3 experience helpful, but not required Physical Requirements & Environment Ability to lift, handle, carry material or equipment up to 50lbs Continuous standing, walking, and sitting Ability to work in various temperatures in a repetitive environment Employees must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms and horns that may be used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment.
