Job Title: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a decisive, "hands-on" Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our client's North American Headquarters. This is not a "desk job"; it is a high-impact leadership role requiring a strong, visible presence on the warehouse floor to ensure discipline, safety, and peak operational performance.

The ideal candidate will be a firm leader who can balance strategic planning with daily execution, managing everything from complex international logistics to team accountability.

  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance

Warehouse Operations & Inventory

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and root-cause analysis
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage labor planning and manpower allocation to meet business needs
  • Support RMA and customer return processes

Continuous Improvement & Systems

  • Drive Lean, 5S, and process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to improve efficiency, service levels, and costs
  • Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and space utilization
  • Utilize WMS and ERP systems (Infor M3 preferred) to support data-driven decisions

Transportation, Compliance & Safety

  • Manage relationships with TL, LTL, parcel carriers, and freight forwarders
  • Optimize freight costs, routing, and carrier performance
  • Oversee international shipping with a strong focus on Mexico and Canada
  • Ensure compliance with customs, hazmat, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Own warehouse safety programs, audits, and corrective actions
  • Oversee facility, racking, and material handling equipment maintenance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred or 7–10 years of progressive warehouse/logistics experience
  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a distribution center or headquarters environment
  • Strong hands-on leadership style with daily floor presence
  • Experience with international freight and customs regulations (Mexico/Canada strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on forklift experience with both sit-down and stand-up forklifts, including reach trucks.
  • Ability and authorization to train and certify employees on forklift and material handling equipment operation in accordance with OSHA and company standards
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience a strong plus
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems (Infor M3 strongly preferred), and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in Italian is preferred

Why Join?

  • Leadership role at a growing North American Headquarters
