Warehouse Material Handler

Material HandlerThe Material Handler is responsible for the material flow to and from the Assembly group for all jobs and shop supplies. Reports to the Shop Foreman.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Handle all material flow, pull tickets etc.Verify correct Part Numbers (P/N) vs packing slips, pull tickets, and check parts into the bills of materialReceive material into our business system and our customer portalLabel and organize material on racksHand out all Job material to shop personnel. Re-verifying correct P/N and quantityHandle all material discrepancies (Non-conformances)Communicate with team members and customers about material issuesDispose of all material left over from jobs, via in-slip to inventory, return for credit, etc.Make pick-ups and deliveries as needed.Assist warehouse with problem-solving and picking as neededRespond to emails as neededKeep a clean and organized work areaExpedite orders as requiredOther duties as assignedRequirements:Must be proficient with MS Excel, and WordMust be able to develop a working knowledge of business systemAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively interdepartmentallyMust be able to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel between local branchesMust be able to drive a fork liftBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability effective first of the month after the hire datePTO accrual begins upon hireReferral bonuses100% employee-owned plus 401k with company match
