Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 3PL (Third Party Logistics) business, including warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and inventory management . This role demands a balance of strategic thinking, leadership, operational expertise, and financial acumen to ensure the successful and profitable delivery of 3PL services. You will report directly to the General Manager. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Lead and develop large, diverse teams, including Supervisors, warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service teams, ensuring high productivity and efficient execution. Ensure operational excellence by commanding day-to-day functions—inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics—while applying process improvement methodologies (like Lean or Six Sigma) to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies. Manage financial and compliance performance by overseeing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the operations unit, analyzing key performance metrics, and mitigating operational risks and safety regulations. Customer Facing Handles customer inquiries about orders, shipments, or inventory. What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role . Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), financial oversight (including budgeting and P&L responsibility), and managing client expectations and satisfaction. Proven ability to lead complex operations, meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and effectively resolve conflicts and manage team dynamics. Bachelors preferred, along with professional certifications like Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma. Physical requirements lifting at least 40 lbs, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. Note: After an offer is accepted, all selected applicants must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
