Warehouse Operations Manager Apply
The Greenwich Tent Company’s warehouse is a high-velocity, time-critical operation that supports luxury events, where precision is everything. We’re seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader with a proven background in fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environments, who is committed to flawless execution and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee warehouse, washroom, and yard operations with flawless execution.
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable warehouse staff; foster a culture of safety, precision, and excellence.
- Conduct performance reviews and maintain team morale under pressure.
- Dispatch crews and vehicles
Inventory & Logistics
- Manage all inventory controls, work with the Internal Operations Manager on shipping/receiving
- Oversee and run biannual inventory counts and updates.
- Receive and enter all shipments and packaging for outgoing shipments.
- Possess a strong command of inventory and inventory management systems at all times.
- Responsible for the safekeeping and proper handling of our inventory.
- Train warehouse staff on proper handling and packing of inventory.
- Perform routine forward look checks.
- Identify shortages/quality issues and escalate promptly.
Facility Management
- Keep the warehouse, washroom, and yard spotless and organized.
- Troubleshoot warehouse facility problems as necessary
- Plan and oversee the execution of key off-season projects with the Internal Operations Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ warehouse management in high-volume, time-critical distribution.
- Assertive leader with strong presence and clear communication in managing seasonal and event-driven workforce
- Skilled with inventory systems; Good Shuffle a plus.
- Flexible to work extended hours during peak season.
- Constructive perfectionism with a focus on results; able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly and manage unexpected changes with professionalism.
- Strong command of 6S and Lean principles and VSM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong command of Excel.
Nice to Have:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Ability to design and deliver OSHA safety training programs.
- Event industry, especially the rental industry, experience.
- Forklift Certification
