Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager owns the day‑to‑day performance of our Salt Lake City fulfillment center, overseeing all inbound and outbound activity, staffing, inventory accuracy, and facility operations. This role is responsible for hitting service‑level targets (on‑time pick/pack/ship, receiving turnaround, inventory accuracy) while managing a team of Warehouse Fulfillment Associates, controlling labor costs, and ensuring the facility runs safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on leadership role — equal parts floor presence and operational planning.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Own daily execution of pick/pack/ship, receiving, cycle counts, and retail/wholesale shipment prep to meet SLA and carrier cutoff times
Monitor daily throughput, order accuracy, and on‑time shipping metrics; troubleshoot bottlenecks in real time
Manage warehouse layout, pick paths, and slotting to optimize efficiency as SKU count and volume grow
Coordinate with the Miami facility and corporate team on cross‑dock, inventory transfers, and load balancing between locations
Team Leadership
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Warehouse Fulfillment Associates and any leads/shift supervisors
Set daily/weekly productivity goals, run pre‑shift huddles, and manage performance feedback and coaching
Build and manage labor schedules against forecasted order volume, including peak season staffing plans
Inventory & Reporting
Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle count programs and reconciliation of discrepancies
Own receiving accuracy — verifying PO/ASN matches, flagging shortages or damage, and processing claims
Report daily/weekly KPIs (DOH, stockouts, fill rate, shipping accuracy, labor cost per order) to leadership
Partner with S&OP/forecasting on inventory positioning and replenishment timing
Facility & Compliance
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant warehouse; manage equipment maintenance and safety programs
Own facility‑related vendor relationships (equipment, supplies, building maintenance, security)
Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides and shipping requirements for retail accounts
Support permitting, buildout, and facility improvement projects as the location scales
Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse or 3PL operations experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role
Experience with WMS platforms, barcode scanning systems, and shipping/carrier software
Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving processes, and pick/pack/ship workflows
Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Comfortable working with data — reading KPI dashboards, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions independently under pressure
Forklift certification
Physical Requirements
Ability to be on the warehouse floor for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
