Duties & Responsibilities As a Warehouse Selector, you determine how much you earn. The more orders you complete safely and efficiently, the more money you earn each week. The average Publix Selector performs at a rate greater than 100%, which means you can earn above standard pay. You will pull products ordered by Publix stores, place them on pallets, wrap the finished order, and prepare it for delivery. Selectors use technology to be notified of products and locations in the warehouse. Together, teams strive to keep shelves stocked across more than 1,200 store locations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. What We’re Looking For At least 18 years old. Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Work fluctuating shifts as needed. Select, lift, carry and stack product weighing up to 67 pounds for High Velocity. Stand, bend, stoop and perform repetitive work for long periods. Operate a pallet truck or forklift within the operator compartment. Perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely. Read, write, identify and verify numbers.
