Covington Electric Cooperative, Inc., is seeking a Warehouse Specialist (Enterprise Office) Under direction of the Warehouse Stores/Purchasing Manager, stores and issues line materials, equipment, merchandise for resale, tools and safety equipment in a warehouse or storeroom. Minimum Requirements High school education or its equivalent with additional courses/knowledge in data processing and one to three years’ experience in inventory control/warehouse procedures or an appropriate combination of education, training, and experience. Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license. Must be a certified forklift operator or be able to obtain certification. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and be able to establish priorities and work without close supervision. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office computer programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and other job-related software as required. Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends in emergency situations or as required. Must be willing to participate in special training programs/classes as requested. Must be willing to carry/wear a cell phone and respond when called. Applicant must also pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
