Responsibilities The Warehouse Specialist performs a wide range of warehousing and logistics functions in support of U.S. Army supply operations. This role requires familiarity with Army supply procedures, accountability standards, and material-handling practices. Key responsibilities include: Verifying incoming materials against receiving documents and reporting discrepancies or visible damage. Routing materials to designated storage locations and ensuring proper storage, stacking, and palletizing in accordance with established methods. Conducting inventories, rearranging stock, and monitoring stored materials for deterioration or damage. Preparing materials for issue or shipment and removing items from storage as required. Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and power-driven material-handling equipment as needed. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve overtime, exposure to heat, cold, dust, and inclement weather. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience. Forklift operation experience. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening. Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Army supply operations, including familiarity with 92-series MOS functions or equivalent civilian logistics experience. Working knowledge of Army supply and logistical processes. Proficiency with GCSS-Army. Skill using Microsoft Office applications. Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
