The salary range for this position is $75,000‑$85,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 6%. JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Supervisor has the general responsibility of coordinating all warehouse activities on a daily, shift or team basis. Responsible for leading or supervising the receiving, storage and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. This position would need to work night shift hours Monday through Thursday. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Labor Management: Responsible for establishing work schedules and ensuring those schedules are implemented properly. Schedule PTO requests while ensuring that work volume demands are met with appropriate staffing. Administer performance evaluations, associate development, and recommendation of promotions. Interview, hire, and train new associates. Apply corrective actions as necessary for safety, quality, or attendance issues. Operations: Supervise the unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, picking, and staging of outbound shipments. Correctly verify both inbound and outbound paperwork, ensuring all products are properly counted. Complete all orders accurately in warehouse management system (WMS). Ensure safe usage of MHE, to include coordination of training for associates as necessary. Ensure cleanliness of Distribution Center. With Operations Manager, coordinate and complete routine inventory counts. Documentation: Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Compute, analyze, and report daily production and productivity metrics. Other Functions: Attend warehouse planning meetings. Follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to manager. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety in accordance with company and OSHA standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment; may be subjected to loud noise, temperature and extreme weather. Overtime work may be required. Equipment/Machinery Used: Pallet jack, forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, time clock, office equipment (including computer, printer, fax, calculator and telephone). Physical Requirements: Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods (at least 3‑4 hours straight). Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use proper technique to lift up to 50 pounds. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 2‑3 years supervising experience or leading a team in a shipping and receiving environment. Good communication and decision‑making skills. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred. QUALIFICATIONS Required Behaviors: Leader – Inspires teammates to follow them. Team Player – Works well as a member of a group. Preferred Behaviors: Functional Expert – Considered a thought leader on a subject. Detail Oriented – Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well. Dedicated – Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity.
