JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at client.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facility.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and ensure the smooth flow of products in and out of the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for the music industry.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of all components to make a job workable.
  • Compound
  • Jackets

  • Marketing Materials
  • Ensure efficient inventory tracking within IFS system to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Coordinate the shipping of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure orders are processed and shipped according to customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
  • Work closely with the production team to prioritize orders based on manufacturing schedules.

Quality Control:

  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain high product standards.
  • Inspect incoming products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Implement corrective actions for any quality issues identified during the inspection process.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that warehouse operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for warehouse staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to enhance safety and efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory transactions, and other warehouse-related activities.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  • Knowledge of vinyl record manufacturing processes is a plus.
