EMI Services is hiring an experienced Wastewater Field Service Manager. The work involves direct responsibility for planning, scheduling, assigning, participating, and supervising work crews engaged in wastewater and storm water maintenance.

Salary

$80,000 to $100,000 (Depending on Experience and Licensing) plus employer paid health benefits!

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for all associated tasks related to Wastewater and Storm Water Maintenance, including preventative maintenance and chemical testing.
  • Assigns tasks to Waste and Storm Water Management team members based on their skills, expertise, and workload capacity, ensuring that tasks are distributed effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Regularly monitor the progress of tasks and projects to ensure that they are on schedule and within budget.
  • Identify any potential issues or obstacles that may arise and takes proactive measures to address them.
  • Ensure that work performed by team members meets quality standards and specifications. This involves conducting inspections, reviewing workmanship, and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Manage resources such as materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Facilities effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in a management role in wastewater/ storm water maintenance (10+years preferred)
  • Wastewater 1 or 2 Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Regular, dependable attendance
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations

Physical Requirements

  • Tasks require the ability to exert moderate, though not constant physical effort
  • Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Some lifting to include overhead lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (10-20 pounds)
  • May occasionally involve heavier objects and materials (up to 50 pounds)
