JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Water Engineer Business Leader, you will be a key stakeholder in gaining new clients and projects, while also serving as a senior project manager and mentor the junior engineers. Our client focuses exclusively on serving public projects in order to deliver highly efficiency solutions with great impacts to the improvement of people's lives.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Water Practice in North Texas.
  • Identify new clients, lead sales efforts, and benchmark competition.

Client Relationship Management and Engagement:

  • Steward development of strategic clients, ensuring satisfaction through feedback sessions.
  • Represent the company at meetings, identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Team and Quality Management:

  • Manage Water Practice staff, recruit and mentor, and prioritize project assignments.
  • Apply quality management processes, serve as a technical resource, and monitor goals.

Project Management and Risk Mitigation:

  • Function as a project manager for complex projects, addressing requirements and coordination issues.
  • Collaborate to identify cross-selling opportunities and manage risk for successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • BS Civil Engineering and Texas PE License.
  • 20+ years experience, with at least 5 years demonstrated success in developing business and maintaining client relationships in the North Texas region.
  • Experience in complex water/wastewater facility and/or pipeline engineering, business development, and strategic planning

Candidates must be located or willing to relocate to Dallas-Fort Worth area and work on a hybrid schedule.

Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
