We are currently hiring a WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN! As a water damage restoration technician, you are a key member of the team who will be responsible for all the details required to properly mitigate and dry a structure.

We are currently hiring a WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN! As a water damage restoration technician, you are a key member of the team who will be responsible for all the details required to properly mitigate and dry a structure.
Water Damage Technician Duties:
- Consistent daily communication with customers and employees via phone, text, and email
- Immediate Response to property damage emergency calls
- Inspection and discovery of damaged property using moisture meters and equipment.
- Pack and move personal property.
- Water extraction using extraction tools.
- Demolition of damaged materials including flooring, cabinets, drywall, and insulation
- Detailed jobsite cleaning after water extraction and demolition
- Application of antimicrobial products
- Set up and monitor drying equipment.
- Utilizing Mica for monitoring and drying procedure
- Keep the job sites clean and professional.
- Attend all appropriate company meetings and company sponsored training sessions.
- Clean and maintain drying equipment.
- Available for routine on call rotational emergency services and after-hours work.
Necessary Skill and Experience:
- Understanding of demolition hand tools
- Ability to work safely in a construction environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Good time management skills
- Problem-solving
- Strong sense of urgency
- Willingness to learn new applications and programs.
- Valid Drivers license required.
- Clean Background check required.
- Knowledge of MICA Software a plus
- Knowledge of DASH software a plus
- IICRC certifications a plus
Compensation Package:
- COMPETITIVE PAY $28 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
