Water Treatment OperatorAt Kelly, we're seeking a Wastewater Process Operator to work for our client in Cartersville, GA. If you're looking for a technical, hands-on role where you can make a positive environmental impact, this could be the perfect fit for you.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm Pay Rate: $15.00 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of wastewater collection and purification systems to ensure efficient and compliant performance.Monitor and analyze wastewater quality, conducting regular sampling, testing, and data review to guarantee compliance with environmental standards.Recommend technical upgrades or process improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and monitoring service delivery.Apply and maintain quality, environmental, and safety management systems throughout all operational activities.Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records for regulatory and internal use.Identify, investigate, and resolve process issues or non-compliance; report concerns to management promptly.Support ongoing staff training related to process operation, safety, and compliance.Participate in regular drills and safety checks, ensuring procedures are up to date.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in wastewater treatment preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience in water/wastewater operations or a related technical/process environment.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Basic computer literacy; experience with data entry and reporting systems a plus.Effective communication skills; English proficiency preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.Physical RequirementsRoutine lifting of up to 50 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Ability to work in wet and outdoor environments.Operate valves, pumps, and monitoring equipment as needed.
