We are looking for a skilled Computer Systems Administrator to oversee and enhance our IT systems and game server infrastructure for Geometry Dash Lite. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance environments that support both development workflows and live game operations. You will play a key part in maintaining uptime, optimizing performance, and assisting the team in delivering seamless gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities: Set up, manage, and maintain servers, databases, and backend systems for game operations. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement proactive maintenance strategies. Maintain network security, including firewall configuration and secure communication protocols. Work closely with developers to deploy updates, patches, and new features smoothly. Implement and manage backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and data protection measures. Control access permissions and authentication systems for internal teams and users. Document infrastructure, processes, and system changes clearly. Support development environments, virtual machines, and deployment pipelines. Optimize infrastructure to ensure scalability and low‑latency performance for players. Required Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in system administration, preferably in gaming or high‑traffic environments. Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server management. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, and secure protocols (SSL/TLS). Experience with monitoring and logging tools. Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with online multiplayer or real‑time systems. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and automated deployments. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. Understanding of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
