Overview Web Developer – Criterion Systems, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Web Developer to support a USDA Forest Service contract based in Boise, ID. The candidate will provide Operations & Maintenance support on existing applications and manage enhancement releases. Compensation & Benefits Estimated Starting Salary Range for Web Developer: Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Responsibilities Self-motivated and professional in demeanor with proven success as a web developer in an Agile environment delivering fixes and enhancements. Interface with customers/clients to drive high customer satisfaction and a positive team environment; strong verbal and written communication skills to navigate challenging situations with nuance. Define and document deliverable objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning features and functionality. Debug and resolve issues in both back-end (Node.js) and front-end (Vue.js, Vue 3). Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities; contribute to team meetings; troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and platforms. Experience with AWS web development, Jira, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube), WebSphere/Tomcat, HTML, and related technologies (desired). Understand and apply 508 compliance concepts and methodologies. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written), strong teaming abilities, and persistence in issue resolution. Minimum 8+ years of job-related experience. Experience working remotely 100% with high-speed internet and a dedicated home office. Ability to provide after-hours on-call support. Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Prefer existing Public Trust Clearance. Must be a US citizen.
