Web QA Automation Engineer - Hybrid

QA Automation engineer Location: MN - hybrid JOB SUMMARY: Looking for a Web QA Automation Engineer to ensure high quality Dealer-facing websites. As a Web QA Automation Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for building robust automated testing solutions that regularly exercise full system functionality and ensure project requirements are implemented properly. The ideal candidate is effective in a fast-paced Agile development environment, is fresh on industry best practices and automated testing standards and is passionate about delivering quality products to customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful functional test plans that holistically analyze websites on all major supported web browser platforms Thoroughly document issues found, assign proper severity, and drive resolution Execute regression testing to support software releases to customers Integrate automated testing solutions into continuous integration pipelines or equivalent Support, maintain and administer cloud testing solutions Analyze system performance for bottlenecks Boost unit, integration, and regression testing coverage Adopt and mature project's best practices and coding standards Have a customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that is centered around a great customer experience Be an active participant in and help enhance a mature agile environment Support manual testing as needed Explore new methods and tools for automated testing Flexible enough to work on products being produced for a fast-changing market Help build and maintain high team morale SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Minimum Qualifications: At least 5 years of automated testing experience At least 2 years of experience delivering highly effective automated testing solutions using Selenium WebDriver in a C# environment Proven experience in building ground-up automation solutions to drive product quality\ Development experience using C# Knowledge of API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests Postman Experience Performance testing experience Experience implementing and supporting continuous integration testing solutions Familiarity with defect tracking and task creation tools like JIRA Strong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar degree Preferred Qualifications: Script and tool writing experience to aid in test suite execution Browserstack Experience Test Rail Experience Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter Experience Dev/Ops knowledge #DICE
