We are seeking a Mid-Level Web Software Developer in support of a critical Law Enforcement customer. Key requirements to be considered:


  • ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Ability to work onsite in the Washington, DC area
Responsibilities:

The Mid-Level Web Developer will be a full-stack developer who can design, build, and test a web-based application. The candidate will be able to edit site content for various components. The individual will maintain website standards, and comply with predefined design guidelines. In addition, the Developer will utilize best practices in web screen design and learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficient in React.js and NodeJS
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience building and working with RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI
  • Knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Experience working with open-source software
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in working with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL preferred)
  • Experience with AWS containerization
  • Experience working with a content management system such as Drupal to create, manage, and theme content
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
