JOB SUMMARY:
The Welder will setup, tack, and perform all types of welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Use special or general purpose fixtures, or improvise same, as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cut and fit, heat and bend, perform weld repairs, salvage, rebuild parts as directed.
  • Work any position.
  • Parts vary in size, crane provided.
  • Clean welds as required.
  • Required to work with other personnel during assembly of large components.
  • Requires the use of fairly complicated drawings, advanced shop mathematics, handbook formulas, etc.
