Description Summary The primary function of this position is to Weld, Fabricate and re-work cases and housings. You will also be responsible for helping Drivetrain Technicians with Daily welding and Fabricating needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Get direction from shop leads on priority of work. Perform re-work functions as described by Shop leads. Ability to weld Aluminum, Cast Iron, and Magnesium. Work with Machinists on projects that require welding. Ensure the finished Weld is in good working order and cosmetically up to standards. Inform maintenance when machinery breakdown occurs. Maintain a clean and safe work space. Other tasks as directed. Will conduct these responsibilities in a professional and timely manner. Able to work well with others. Always wear Proper PPE. Requirements Preferred Education and Experience Basic automotive and mechanical skills. Experience using basic power tools. Capable of using Plasma cutter and Torch. Ability to weld MiG/TIG and wire feed. Knowledge and Personal Attributes Able to work independently. Ability to work well with others. Attention to Detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
