GTAW Welder / Fabricator -
We are seeking experienced GTAW Welder/Fabricators to join a team specializing in the manufacturing of highly engineered metal systems. This role is responsible for precision welding and fabrication of metal components according to detailed drawings, specifications, and work orders.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with TIG (GTAW) welding and a solid understanding of fabrication processes across various metal materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform GTAW/TIG welding on steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Execute progressive welding operations to meet drawing tolerances and specifications
Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, including weld symbols
Inspect completed welds, repair defects, fill gaps, and ensure conformance to specifications
Perform grinding and finishing as required to support welding processes
Utilize torch cutting equipment when necessary
Inspect first articles to verify compliance with quality standards
Complete required quality control documentation accurately
Maintain welding equipment, fixtures, and tooling in proper working condition
Collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineers, and team members on process improvements, fixturing, and tooling requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Occasional travel to customer or project sites may be required under special circumstances.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to take in-process measurements and accurately record data
Proficient in reading tape measures and other measuring instruments
Strong mathematical aptitude and mechanical troubleshooting skills
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly

Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with AWS D1.1 welding procedures required.
GTAW/TIG welding experience required.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant welding/fabrication experience in a similar environment.
