The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. A GREAT Attitude, Dependability, Integrity and experience are paramount, as this role is critical to ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our products.Job Responsibilities:Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.Clear understanding of welding and the effects of welding on sheet metal.Ability to weld thin gauge steel & stainless steel sheet metal without warpage.Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications using appropriate tools and equipment.Perform various welding techniques, using MIG , to assemble components and structures.Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct defects. Including removing all BB's and imperfections.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to plan and execute tasks accurately.Ability to solve practical problems using reasoning and decision-making skills to ensure quality workDemonstrate enthusiasm, takes initiative, and works with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed production and quality goals.Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, saws, iron worker, shear and grinders all while maintaining a safe work environment.Collaborate with team members to develop templates, fixtures, or other work aids to hold and align parts during assembly.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Operate as a team player, effectively communicating and working with production supervisor and others.Good communication skills and great attitude.Compensation:Competitive pay.Paid weekly on Thursday, direct deposit, and offer a competitive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Simple IRA, Vacation, Holiday Pay, etc.At a minimum, background check, employment verification, and a drug screen will be conducted upon hire.
