Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking to add Welders and Pipefitters in Pell City, AL.
Pay: Starts at $20 per hour
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
Responsible for the assembly and welding of idlers using welding and fitting equipment. This role supports on-time delivery and ensures products meet quality standards. The position requires current AWS welding certification or the ability to obtain certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and weld idler components using appropriate welding and fitting equipment.
- Operate welders and machinery associated with assigned job tasks.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings and accurately measure to within 1/16 of an inch using a tape measure.
- Understand company products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of workmanship to support timely delivery of a quality product.
- Lift up to 75 pounds and stand continuously for an 8-hour shift, with overtime as required.
- Exhibit trustworthiness, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Organize and manage individual work while supporting team objectives.
- Perform additional assignments in other areas as required.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

- Ability to safely and proficiently use welding and fabrication equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Must successfully complete post-hire physical, background, DMV, and drug/alcohol screening as required.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related welding and fabrication experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training, Certifications, and Licenses
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- AWS Welding Certification (must be current or obtained within six months of hire).
- Ability to complete company forklift certification.
- Subject to background, DMV, and drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating tools.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, and extreme temperatures.
- Continuous standing for extended periods.
- Noise level is typically moderate.
