Welder Apply
Job Description: Must have knowledge of Tig welding stainless steel pipe. Must be able to lift 50lbs daily. Able to fully penetrate stainless pipe. Read and understand blueprints. Able to cut and prep and bevel their own pipe, material and fittings. Must pass a physical, to make sure they can lift pipe daily. Please note that the manager would like to pay between $20-$25/hr based on experience so your candidate may be offered a pay rate lower than what they are submitted at. There is a chance that this position could turn into a full time role in the future.
Responsibility:
- Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry
- Perform specialty welding tasks, spool pieces, flanges, etc.
- Inspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seem splits in pipe
- Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance
- Reports all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and requires repairs
