Welder – 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire
People Plus is partnering with a local fabrication shop to hire an experienced Welder for a 1st shift, temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential for the right candidate.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday- 6 am-2:30 pm
Pay:
- $24–$26/hour for highly skilled and qualified welders
- Pay based on experience and welding skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding on fabricated metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Ensure quality welds that meet safety and production standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Experience with Sub Arc Welding preferred
- Welding Hood
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
