Job description:

We are a steel fabricator with an open position for a welder in our Potsdam Branch.

Qualifications

• Mig welding experience, cutting, grinding, material handling.
• Fabrication/Layout experience, beam, channel, angle, railings, plate, etc.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a welding apprenticeship or vocational training program is preferred.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position M-F with some overtime and the option of Saturdays.

Work is performed in a fabrication shop environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Use of PPE, including welding helmets, gloves, and steel-toed boots, is mandatory.
