Welding Engineer (ASME Code Fabrication)

Job Location: Hartville, Ohio

Job Type: Full-time - Dayshift

MITCO is hiring a Welding Engineer to support fabrication of ASME Section VIII pressure vessels and ASME Section I / B31.1 / B31.3 piping systems.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage WPS / PQR / WPQ (ASME Section IX)
• Support shop fabrication and code compliance
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Interface with QC and Authorized Inspectors
• Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering degree (Welding, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or similar)
• Experience with ASME fabrication and welding procedures
• Knowledge of Section VIII, Section IX, B31.1 / B31.3
• Experience in pressure vessels or industrial piping

Preferred

• CWI or AWS Welding Engineer (CWE)
• ASNT Level II (VT, MT, PT)
• Experience in ASME Code shop environment
