About the Role

The Wholesale & FBA Fulfillment Lead is responsible for the daily oversight and execution of high-volume Wholesale, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), and Kitting operations. This role serves as the bridge between floor operations and management, ensuring that the team adheres to strict quality standards and timelines. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with precision while motivating the department to meet or exceed the "Phase V" Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management & Workflow

    • Order Oversight: Direct the end-to-end processing of all Wholesale, FBA, and specialized Kitting orders. Ensure all specific labeling, routing, and packaging guidelines are met to avoid chargebacks or vendor non-compliance.
    • WMS Accuracy: Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure real-time inventory visibility. Promptly update order statuses, troubleshoot allocation errors, and ensure digital records match physical inventory.
    • SLA Compliance: Monitor workflow velocity to ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and strictly within the Phase V SLA timeframes.
    • Quality Control: Conduct spot checks and final audits on outbound shipments to ensure 100% accuracy in SKU counts and packaging presentation.

Team Leadership & Development

    • Supervision: Oversee daily activities of department employees, assigning tasks based on order volume and priority.
    • Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team productivity metrics. Provide coaching and corrective action when necessary to maintain efficiency.
    • Training: Onboard new hires and train existing staff on FBA prep standards, kitting intricacies, and safety protocols.

Communication & Coordination

    • Cross-Department Collaboration: actively collaborate with Inventory, Receiving, and Shipping leads to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure inventory availability for upcoming large orders.
    • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Management and Customer Service regarding order status. Proactively communicate delays or issues and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Inventory Integrity: Coordinate with the Inventory team to reconcile discrepancies found during the picking or kitting process immediately.

Safety & Organization

    • Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area (5S standards) to ensure safety and efficiency.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members are utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and operating equipment (pallet jacks, tape machines) safely.

Requirements

    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with specific focus on Wholesale or FBA (Amazon) fulfillment preferred.
    • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of FBA prep requirements (labeling, poly-bagging, bundling) and LTL/FTL palletization standards. (preferred)
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with management and clients.
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks).

Benefits

  • Competitive pay ($20 – $22/hr based on experience)
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays (for full-time employees)
  • Opportunity for growth within a fast-paced fulfillment organization.
