The R&A team collaborates across various business and technology units to implement robust data quality management policies and procedures, and to provide subject matter expertise on regulatory reporting requirements. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Lending Reporting Analytics Analysis to join our Regulatory and Analytics team. This role is expected to deliver excellence at the intersection of data analytics, regulatory management, control framework development, adoption and deployment of new technology in wholesale credit management.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Data Quality Stewardship: Defendable and Supported AnalysisBecome business domain expert in wholesale credit product, portfolio and risk managementAccountable for DQ review in compliance with WCR, EDO, industry and regulatory guidance with 95% accuracy rate. Review should be comprehensive, concise, conclusive and consistent with clear support document reference.Specialize in assigned portfolio, liaise with business, TM and UW, ensure data integrity, represent R&A in issue remediation, while backup teammates on other portfoliosResponsible for detecting, assessing, measuring, reporting of data anomaliesApply new technology and data analytics tools to improve the review efficiencyContribute to development and sustainability of R&A Target Operating Model.Control Development and Issue Management:Define and refine logic rules and assign appropriate severity level to help develop control checks for end-to-end data integrityReview and enhance regulatory reporting system logics to align with regulatory guidanceProject manage for logic rule and reporting rule development to ensure quick time-to-marketDesign appropriate testing plan to minimize impact of false positive or false negativesMaintain issue log, review and prioritize strategic remediation based on issue scorecardPropose, implement and document compensating controls for regulatory reportingDevelop and run reports for impact assessment and adjustmentsInternal and Regulatory Exam, Change Management:Manage internal and regulatory inquiries, Internal Audit and regulatory exam as the primary for coverage portfolios, back up teammates on othersCollaborate in regulatory change management with RRIO, Risk, Finance from interpretation to implementationEffectively communicate and coordinate implementation, act as R&A SME to support business, Risk and FinanceSupport the development and implementation of best-in-class Data Quality management policies, procedures, and capabilities.Data-Driven Analytical Tooling and Automation:Scope and provide business requirements to technology for DQ remediation from SOR to reporting based on root cause analysisDraft business requirement for development of analytical capabilities and R&A adjustment workflowCollaborate with Product Development on implementation and deploymentAI and New Technology Development and Integration:Define use cases for AI adoption, collaborate with Technology, TM and businessHelp train and refine AI application through testing and feedbackOffer tactical solution designs and guidance on interpretive issues relating to reporting instructions and their implementation.Support the resolution of data-related issues to ensure accurate and timely regulatory filings.Qualifications5+ years of experienceResult-oriented, self-motivated for high quality execution with good time managementWorking experience with data analytics tools (Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI / Tableau), hands-on with artificial intelligence techniqueCommitment and aptitude to quickly learn wholesale loan legal agreement and Risk document review.
