WIN Site Coordinator Apply
We are seeking a WIN Site coordinator who can do the following: Key Responsibilities Communicate with day-school and program staff to address academic needs and create individualized learning strategies for students. Provide support to program staff and coordinate daily schedules. Collect required data and review (at least quarterly) with District WIN Coordinator to continually improve program quality. Secure and maintain all resources and supplies necessary for daily site operations. Assist WIN Director in the organization and facilitation of training for staff and monthly site staff meetings and new hire orientations. Maintain the program’s vision and provide quality professional care in a warm and secure atmosphere with special consideration given to individual differences and needs. Work closely with the school principal and WIN Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of the program. Be an effective communicator with children, parents, staff, school personnel, and supervisors. Maintain accurate site records including daily attendance reports, medical logbook, medication administration and documentation, children’s records, all within state licensing rules and regulations. Attend staff meetings and trainings as deemed necessary by the District WIN Coordinator. Adhere to guidelines and procedures as defined in the Sparta Area School District Policy Manual. Understand the responsibility of self and staff as mandated child abuse reporters. Work with school staff, site staff and community partners to create and implement relevant family programming and adult education opportunities, addressing needs of the local population. Assist in the promotion of the program in the school and in the community to raise awareness and increase attendance. Degree/Special Training Required: High School Diploma required; post secondary education or experience in an Out of School Time Program preferred.
