Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Senior Work Control Planners in Los Alamos, NM.
Navarro Research & Engineering is an award-winning federal contractor dedicated to partnering with our clients to overcome their most challenging environmental, technical, and infrastructure missions within the nuclear and environmental industries. Navarro is based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee with active programs across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense. For more information, visit position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory on site as a Navarro employee in a staff augmentation position.
Position Description:
Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree – in engineering, construction or closely related industry.
Minimum of 10 years of experience developing and reviewing work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
