Workday Financial Expert Hybrid Apply
Location: Open to Remote Preference for Hybrid on-site in Mclean, VA
Duration: 9 Months
Must Have Qualifications: Familiar with Workday; specifically, how information is sent, generated, structured, and configured within Workday. Familiar with Simcorp how data is consumed, and results are transferred from Simcorp to Workday.
Schedule: Standard
- We are looking to implement Workday accounting or Financial reporting and we are looking for someone with exp. in Workday Implementation and SimCorp
- Client recently went through this implementation so looking for someone who recently worked to support this engagement
- This is to implement workday accounting - we will continue to use subledge simcorp - will be implemented towards the end of next year
- building requirements in terms of how data is to be moved from subledger to new ledger in workday
- test cases identified and resource will be responsible for doing documentation of testing
- get into conversion where we have a set of balances and activities and how that will be transformed into the workday
- in terms of the day to day building requirements working with SMEs to document the requirements and communication with project teams , answering questions
- clarifying information if needed, SIT testing and everything associated with that which will include all the aspects of testing and finally phase III will be the UAT
- Ideally we would look for both Workday and Simcorp but if not then we would want someone with Workday
- Its to do with implementation so even if someone has worked with single implementation project that would be great but ideally 2 to 3 years of experience
- They will be working EST - 9am to 5pm
- having someone locally would take preference even if they have less experience
1. Experience implementing Workday financial reporting at other financial institutions through defining business requirements and performing testing.
2. Experience in conversion of existing accounting applications into Workday including mapping.
3. Simcorp Dimension experience with creating and updating Compression Rules logic and ABOR subledger configurations or migration.
4. Experience in building reporting requirements in Workday for financial reporting / analytics."
