Workday Financial Report Developer
Location: South Orange County
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + bonus eligible
Overview
A growing national healthcare support organization is seeking a Workday Financial Report Developer to enhance, optimize, and maintain its Workday Financials environment. This role is central to enabling accurate financial operations, reporting, and cross-functional decision-making across a large multi-state organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday Financial reports (standard, matrix, composite, dashboards).
- Build custom reports using Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Report Designer.
- Validate report accuracy, ensure data integrity, and document report logic for ongoing support.
- Review reporting impacts based on Workday updates and recommend necessary changes.
- Support and troubleshoot existing reports; ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, HR, IT, and other teams to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Workday Financials reporting experience.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical report logic.
- Experience supporting financial functional areas (Accounting, AP, Expenses, Projects, Banking, Supplier Accounts, etc.).
- Workday Financials certification preferred.
